Standard Horizon Instrument Repair?

Apparently, as of 7-8 years ago, they don't sell or repair instruments anymore! Has anyone found a repair facility for their 45 series instruments? Particularly for a WS45 thats acting up because it's owner had a senior moment!

You may be SOL on SH instrument repair. Check Defender for Moor instrument pricing--I replaced my defunct WS45 with Moor's apparent wind unit several years ago and was quite satisfied.

I'm thinking your spot on Dan. Did the SH cabling work with Moors products? I'm mast down this layup so changing the cabling would be easier now.

Hey, Dan...

The SH unit was 6-wire and the Moor unit uses 4 so you can reuse the wire in place rather than the wire supplied with the Moor kit. Be sure to match the positioning of wire color at the masthead with the connection to the unit.
