Floating is a big plus. GPS with DSC can be helpful depending on where and how you cruise. For me the single biggest must have are real live knobs for the volume and squelch, not PITA buttons that you need to toggle between different functions.
It's a good deal for a pair of radios (if you need a pair, or a spare handheld), however keep in mind that you do only have a max of 2.5w of transmit power, as opposed to 5 watts for other models. So depending on your area and what kind of reach you are looking for, that may be an issue as well.
