I have a '97 H-26 and somehow I've lost the little plastic/rubber stanchion cap. I looked for them in the W/M and Defender catalogs with no luck. Any idea where I can get one? (or if West Marine or somebody has them, what the part number is?) Thanks, Dave Crowley s/v Wind Dreamer

Home Depot

I've found them at Home Depot. They are in the section with caps/ends for chair legs. Fit great and are cheap enough that I bought extras so that when I catch a sheet on one and pop it off, it's a quick and easy replacement. T J

Call Hunter

I went the home Depot route last year and bought chair leg caps. The problem is that the chair leg caps are not meant to be exposed to sun, rain, wind etc. and you have to cut them down because of the life line running through them. Two of them split after a year. I called Hunter and Mike shipped me some. They are about 50 cents each if I remember. They fit like a glove, they are meant to be in the weather and you don't have to cut them down. I also bought some rubber pads for the cockpit seats from Mike at Hunter. The rubber bumpers from Home Depot are not meant to be exposed to weather either. After one year they were also deteriorated. My 2 cents.
