Does anyone know where I can find stanchion bases for a 1986 34' Hunter. I have a Wauquiez G-33. My toe rail (goiot) looks just like the toe rail on a Hunter 34 in the yeard next to me. I have to replace 2 stanchion bases and the Hunter bases look just like mine

You might want to consider Matella stantions recently highly recommended by Pratical Sailor Mag. Check Matella.com

Not the same type.

I do not think that these stanchion bases are the same that Jim is looking for. The ones on the mid 80's boats are cast and screwed into the toe rail.
