Hal,

That was my problem. While troubleshooting you end up changing out a lot of stuff. At least you know your filters and tank are clean. I learned in the experience. I have an extra fuel pump that I keep on board. I didn't suspect the pump, it only had 430 hours on it.

I was stumped when it started running ruff again. it turned out I left two hoses unclamped at the Racor filter and was getting air in my line. It's running flawless now :)

Sorry for your pains. It ruined half my season. I feel for you.

Well.....it looks like it was our fuel pump after all. I replaced it with a facet pump from napa auto parts (130.00). changing it was a little tough with confined space.....but all is well and she is running again.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions and help!

Fuel pump was the problem. Got it changed & she works fine now. Thanks for all the input and advice!

Ditto. Same effort and same result. Changed the fuel pump and the filter set while I was at it...no comparison in starting. The old adage is right. It is fuel, fuel or fuel! Mahalo.
