With the cruising season commencing, it would be prudent to advise cruisers to check the good til dates on grocery products bought from marina stores.
Some unscrupulous types are trying to dump expired products on the unsuspecting boaters.

But at the same time, remember that "Best by" and "Use by" are two different things. "Best by" isn't necessarily an expiration date. Consider what the item is and how it's packaged.
