I want to replace the teak handrails on my Catalina 30 with stainless 1 in tubing , any ideas on how to put in the curve to follow the cabin top as are the teak ones?

Lost, your existing handrails were straight before they put 'em in. I'm guessing same is true of the SS handrails. I think the Mainsheet magazine may have some vendors for those SS handrails. If not, Google or Bing is your friend when it comes to sourcing. I'm tempted to do just that, but I don't particularly want to make my boat a Mark 1 1/2.

You could go to a canvas guy and ask him to bend the tubing for you,they do it for bimini and dodgers or could get the end mounting for stainless tubing and assorted stainless tubing hand rails.

You are getting correct advice so far. This curve is so slight no pre-bending is needed. One hint though - normally, when installing a track or a rail, one would install the middle fastener 1st, then move outward (alternating) in each direction. IN THIS CASE, install an end fastener 1st, then move straight down the rail using the entire length of the rail for leverage. Should make the slight bending easy. Also, as you near the end, you can put a length of wooden dowel slightly inside the SS tube to get more leverage from the increased length, if needed.

LP: Are you planning on having someone fabricate them from tubing or are you going to just use parts and hand assemble (no welding). I assume you will fabricate them from parts. If this is the case then you can probably go to a muffler shop they have the machine that can bend the tubing. I do not think you can do it yourself.
You can always section the rails so you do not need to bend them either.
We had some made several years ago so they were direct replacments for the originals. We over drilled the holes, filled with epoxy and redrilled to prevent water from getting into the coach roof.
