Stainless Steel Cleaner

I read somewhere someone said that " Brylcreme " worked very well for them on their stainless steel. Does it work? Anyone here tried it?

A little "dab" actually did it? I didn't know that stuff was still on the market! The best I've found over the years has been either 'Never-Dull" or "Flixet" (not sure of the spelling of that last one.

Why would one care to use "greasy kid stuff" when there are excelent products out there, Never Dull in particular, which are designed to do the job and leave no hazardous after effects? Maybe someone came upon a trove of Brylcreme and is looking for a way to use it up?
