staining life caulk

I finally found the water leak! My toe rail is a 2 piece L shape. Under the stainless steel rub strip is the seam for the 2 pieces of teak...except at the leak. There is a one foot length where the seal between the 2 pieces has opened up. So I caulked it with life seal. But at that spot, the stainless strip doesn't cover, so the white caulk is showing up big against the teak.
I could yank out the white and redo with black caulk but that will still show, just not so glaringly.

Will stain adhere to life caulk?

ALmost all caulk attracts dirt and will turn dark, so try the stain with a solder brush, try it some where else out of sight first.....Red

I think you may have a bigger problem there. Have you tested to see if the leak is fixed?

regardless of fixed or not, how do I color the caulk?

I have used latex house paint to color latex calking.
That said, It doesn't come out the same color because of the base materials. It gets much lighter. Justsomeguy has it. But you need to put the mixed mess into a bag for piping like a cake decorator.
I wouldn't mix anything with lifecalk unless I knew the two things were stable when mixed.
I have seen some crazy chemical reactions around latex calk and all PL... products. Bubbles or never hardening.
Have you heard of Butyl?
