In my zeal to ensure that the boat looks as good as it sails, I strayed with my polishing compound and got some on the cockpit seats. The areas that were affected now have a white tinge to them and no amount of scrubbing seems to get rid of the coloring. Prior to resorting to drastic measures, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what is the best way to get rid of the new coloroing and return them to their original hue.
