I assume you mean SAIL :)

Other than mounting a staysail, my only suggestion is that you look deeper into this. Sailing/Swinging on a mooring/at anchor is a very common occurrence in Hunters due to their underside design.

Kinda tough to use an anchor riding sail without a backstay. On my 420, I carry a small (22lb) danforth on a bracket on the stern rail. I occasionally use it as a quick lunch hook and have used it a couple of times to reduce swinging at anchor, by deploying it with only a few more feet of scope that it takes for it to hit bottom. It dampened the swing nicely.

Hi Jeff, oscillating while at anchor is not...

unique to Hunter boats. Some have tried a small sail at the stern, which does help. We anchor most of the time and it does not bother me at all. FWIW you need to be careful when using a stern anchor or shore tie in addition to the bow anchor. Light air or current should not be a problem, but as either or both pick up in strength this will cause a greater force to be placed on your anchoring system especially when it is abeam. Terry

I tamed my 410 with an anchor kellet.

I used a 16 lb. mushroom anchor, a large gate type carabiner that fits around the anchor line and through the top of the mushroom, and about 20' of light poly line to slide the mushroom down the anchor line. In the bays and creeks around the Chesapeake the 20' of poly usually puts the mushroom on the bottom just in front of the bow and the bow tends to stay centered around the mushroom. Very little wandering, it's no big deal to set up, and it stores right in the anchor locker.

couldn't make it work

My sailmaker loaned me an anchor sail for my 410. I took it out in a good stiff wind, tried every possible combination over a period of several hours, and finally took it down because it wasn't working. I found that going with an all-chain rode helped a bit, but that the 410 would still sail its anchor in any kind of wind. Made it kinda tought to serve as race committee, because the committee boat would always try to cross the start line right in front of the fleet.
