Sta-Loc fittings

I have to replace a Sta-Loc stud due to damaged threads. Is it possible to just re-use the socket and wedge (connection to the wire looks great)or do I need to remove and replace the wedge? This is a lower shroud on a Catalina 34, 1/2" stud, 1/3" 1x19 wire.

Check with Sta-loc. As I remember from their manual and my riggers comments, they require a new wedge to be used in repair.

If you have damaged threads on the stud, you should inspect the threads in the socket for damage or galling. Replace if your see any damage.
