st60 wind, masthead schemetic?

i am getting ready to drop the stick on tuesday and change the wind vane to raymarine. my current vane has 4 wires, the raymarine has 5 wires. does anyone know if i could use a ground for one of the wires in the event i cant pull the new wire through the compression post area? i will try to pull the new wire but if i cant i would pick up a ground from one of the lights. i only want to have the mast down for a day if it can be helped!ps 1984 hunter 34regards,mike

Raymarine Owners' Manuals
