I had just anchored when I heard an alarm on my ST60 Wind which read low wind. So I turned off the electronics, turned them back on and the ST60 Wind seemed ok, it even worked normally on the return trip. Put the boat in the slip, turned off everything but when I returned to the boat one week later the ST60 did not function. There is power to the unit but the wind speed reads 00 and the pointer just points straight up. What do you think, a new anometer? Remove and clean connections?

Is your wind measuring thing (sorry, don't know the proper term) at the top of the mast rotating? Several times every Summer, I return to the boat after a week or two and nothing works because spider webs do not allow rotation of the measuring instruments. Sometimes it takes several hours of sailing until the instruments function again.

Wow, Jim. Either you need to go sailing a

whole lot more or they're growing super spiders in Michigan. :)
