You may recall my ST50 wind transducer failed because of damaged prongs on the five-pin plug. I took it to a marine electronics shop who said it was unrepairable. We took it back and cut some wire off a resistor, tapered the ends, stuck them in the stubs of the broken prongs and put some solder on them. Well, today we put it back on the masthead and it works! Whew. The thought of updating everything or buying a non-OEM replacement transducer custom made wasn't a great alternative. Hope it keeps working. Rick D.
