Went to switch on autohelm today......from standby to auto, screen showed 'no data'....and beeped continuously? what do i do now?

Was there a heading shown on the AP

before you tried to engage ? If no, check the fluxgate connections, if yes, you may have been in "track" mode with no GPS interface or waypoint set.

Autohelm Error

Hi Siep -This happens to me rather often. For my setup the cause is a loose plug feeding into my chart plotter. I assume the plug is coming from the fluxgate compass. pull and carefully re-plug all the inputs into your plotter to see if this solves the problem. You should also make sure the contacts are clean.good luck
