st30 upgrade

I have a ST30 depth and speed instrument on my sailboat and I need to replace both of them. Does anyone have any suggestions on an upgrade as Raymarine does not make the ST30 instruments anymore.
Would the ST40 work using the same connections?
Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like other sailors are having the same problem. Transducer hole is bigger in the 40. I would send Raymarine an e mail and ask for help. Same with West Marine.

Upgrade

I just upgraded from a ST50-ST40 the old transducer worked. You will have to cut the wire on the old transducer and rewire it. It is no big deal to do. Good Luck.
