Put one on a Catalina 22
I had put one on a Catalina 22 that I had before the Oday I have now. It worked pretty well, the only problem I had with it was when it got pretty wavy. As any auto helm can’t anticipate waves it struggled to correct course with a smaller boat. Other than that it worked great for trips and would not do without one again. It installed easily and the directions were very good for the instillation. I got the wired remote with mine and highly recommend getting one. It’s kind of fun to steer from the bow while sitting with my kids and our feet hanging over. I have pictures and a power point presentation.
