The other factor is your draft. I have heard that this year it is shoaled to five feet? in the north Chester River approach. The east side is usually deeper. I have touched with 4.5 feet draft threes years ago before it was dredged.
Just went through Kent Narrows from Chester river on the way to St. Michesls for 4th of july from upper bay and there was no issues with thin water, had 8' on a high tide
Mast is 53' and no issue with fixed bridge but will need to time for draw bridge opening, every 1/2 hour but call bridge tender.
