I decided that I should attempt to install a Raytheon ST-60 wind instrument on my Hunter 310 this spring. I even ordered the bosuns chair,(splat) and would like to hear from anyone who has done this before about what to expect in the process of running the cable up the mast and over the cabin ceiling to the instrument location over the companionway. There is a small line coming through the caulking under the mast and protruding into the cabin which I assume is a leader line for pulling something up the mast. Is it easy to pull a cable through the cabin roof or is there a trick to it? Any help will be appreciated. My mast is a furling mast if that makes a difference. Thanks.
