ST60 Speed
First, take it out and make sure that it spins freely and registers when you spin it by hand. Sometimes little things grow way down around the spindle part of the wheel. Takes quite an effort to get it clean. If it does not register when you spin it with your hand, then it is a problem in the transducer or wiring or display. If it does register, but still does not work when moving through the water, it might be obstructed with something in front of the wheel on the bottom. Next cleaning, have the diver pay close attention to the area in front of and around the sensor. then sail it right away and see if that helps.Ours gets mucked up really fast. Within several days sometimes. When we have trouble getting it going, we just put it on SOG and leave it. Wish that there was a way to set it up without a wheel. Heard a rumor that Raytheon was working on this, but have not heard anymore since.Dan (S/V Feije)
