Ok guys. I just got an Icom 710 and I am getting close to install. My 380 is getting hauled next week and I am trying to figure out whether to install a ground plate while it is out... The thinking used to be that you had to have a 100 feet of copper foil, and some say all you need is to attach it to the keel bolts, some say a grounding plane is the way to go.... I would love to get some updated feedback on how you grounded you SSB and the results you have had. Thanks Brian Crew Rest
