Tried all the diagnostics - my shroud-mounted antenna is not doing the job. Has anyone used this ?

It works but it’s probably the most expensive way of creating an effective counterpoise. To be clear, this isn’t an antenna; it’s a counterpoise for an antenna.

In A/B testing, a good connection to any nearby bronze thruhull can actually be more effective in certain circumstance.

What counterpoise are you currently using?
