I have come across a lot of 316 SS tubing, 5 - 10 feet long. There is a little bit of 2" and a little bit of 1 1/2" and a little bit of 1", but a lot of 3/4". I want to make a bimini. I don't have enough 1" but plenty of 3/4". Can I use 3/4" for a bimini? I have searched for 3/4" fittings, but can not find any. Any suggestions? If not for a bimini, do you have any thoughts of where I could use 3/4" 316 SS tubing?

Yes. I am sure it is 3/4 OD. It is 316 SS and was originally used as water pipe. I found it in a scrap yard.
I ordered from marinepartsdepot.com and was very happy with the products that I got from them. I did buy a couple of strainless fittings for attaching a bimini to the boat. They look like any other stainless fitting I looked at at the local boating stores.
Take a look on EBAY also. Seemed to have quite a few 3/4" stainless fittings you might need for what you are contemplating
Sometimes the Tubing in water lines are smaller than what is required for Dodgers. For example we have a Jeanneau DS49 sailing the So Pacific and using 1" for the dodger, with heavy walls. Some of the support brackets are only 3/4", hopefully that will help
