Squeaky wheel needs grease?

Wheel is squeaking whenever I make a small movement. Checked to see that the autopilot and lock screw are both loose and free, what do I do in the way of lubricant? WD40 seems obvious but it sounds like a "plastic squeak" and I want to use something long term which won't hurt the plastic. WD40 doesn't seem to last very long and I am not sure what is best.
Anyone dealt with this?

If you're referring to ST4000MK2 wheel squeaking then open up and spray with McLube (Sailkote) on all parts that need lub. All except the part where the belt drives the wheel hub.
Spray inside of the wheel drive cover as well as side of belt could rub there. I did for mine and friend's MK2s and its beautifully quiet now. :)

Ps: don't use grease or wd40.
