When Going To Squaw Island In Lake Michigan, Is There A Good Area To Set The Anchor And Go To The Lighthouse. Also Is The Lighthouse Still Open?

Not sure about squaw island, but St. Helena has a great anchorage behind it on the UP side, a nice bay and good dingy beach, just watch out for poison ivy and the biting flies.

Just did a quick google earth check and it looks like the whole east side of the island, just south of the sandspit is a sandy beach with a hiking trail leading to the lighthouse.
