Well spring is here and the boat went in early this year,got her in today right before the snow started coming down.

Me too, now I'm nervous <G>

I did the same Nick here in NJ, changed the impeller, new hose on the raw water intake and fired up the diesel. She purrs. Then! The wx forcast, I was warned not to fire it up til April 15th, but I just couldn't wait. I'll keep watch on the temps and snow, I have a heater if I need it. Hope to get out on the water Easter Sunday if only for a motor. This is my H-27 ARK, just before the snow came back! LOL Hope you get out Easter Sunday too...Jim

first sail of 2005

The snow melted and we uncovered the boat which had been cloaked with a tarp all winter in the water. We were ice bound for about two weeks. On March 18th we took the SALSA QUEEN out for a short sail in light winds and a flat bay. Temperatures were in the mid forties. We were a little rusty on our skill but it was exhilarating to be out. Hope your season is started soon.
