spring...

we got record snow fall on sunday and monday.. 9 inches .... still looking at snow everywhere.. blue tarp on boat and covered in snow.. no way to work on it now..

got an e-mai lfrom a friend.. wanted poster for puxitony phill, wanted dead and in the stew pot..

<long exhale> My oldest is playing baseball (college) in western NY right now, in snow flurries and 38F temps. I sat and watched him play on Saturday when it was 38F and blowing 20+ mph. Foul balls were landing in snow. I could barely walk by the end of the game, and I'm used to it. :neutral:

I'd so like to suffer the kind of winter you have, but I so wouldn't like to suffer the kind of summer you have. Can't have everything, I guess. :)

Sailm... REALLY!!!!??? :eek: No sympathy here. We were just there and it was in the 80's. Try 6 degrees and 12" of snow! Not spring in ND yet!

Sun was strong this PM and the wind was finally calm. Temp was high forties but it was quite nice. Hang in there, guys, we're near better weather.

Yes it is blowing like stink and frost warning tonight and people here in Florida are bundling up like all hell broke breaking out except for people from up north and from Canada and this is not suppose to happen in the sun shine state so sad but warm weather coming this weekend :dance:

We moved from the midwest to get away forever from the cold. tKanzler, the summers are much cooler than the midwest. We never have a 100 degree day and always have a breeze. I should work for the chamber of commerce. This place is paradise for sailors. Don't mean to gloat but I feel like I made the perfect choice. 12 years and no regrets.

Glad you say that Sailm because we plan on being there (with the boat) this fall.... The Admiral and I are looking forward to it! :dance:

Still ice on the local lakes. I have 8" of snow in the yard and a still covered boat :(. It has to be close.

Here today, gone tomorrow

This was the view down my street last week after 14" of snow! Still went to the boat on the weekend though. Electric heater under the tarp and life is good!! :dance:

This has been a weird spring. I am hoping it takes off soon because I hate this winter crap!

There you are!!! Missed seeing your blog this year. Needed a warm sunny fix to chase away the ice and snow..... ;)
