SEEMS KIND OF EARLY, BUT TODAY I SAW A FEMALE MALLARD IN THE CANAL BEHIND THE HOUSE, WITH 10 OR 11 REALLY LITTLE DUCKLINGS FOLLOWING ALONG. SO SPRING MUST BE HERE. SORRY FOR YOU GUYS IN THE FAR NORTH.
That's nice of you to think of others NNE. I sailed today along the surfline at Venice Beach in Los Angeles. It was quite pleasant. But it wasn't perfect as I found myself needing to wear a sweatshirt as it was pretty cloudy.I too am sorry for the sailors farther north.Best regards, Big Joe
Damn - so am I. Woke up to 2 inches of snow on the back deck, 20 deg. F. temp, and a bloody wind chill factor of zero F. Not supposed to warm up 'till Easter Monday.
Here is Oregon it hit high 70's today and I bottom painted the boat. First club races are tonight. I painted the bottom in shorts and a T shirt. It was hot.
