Sory to be a bother, but this is my first boat and I never had to do a spring launch before. Does anybody know of a spring launch check list? How many plugs, etc. Would also like to know if there is any way to get an owners manual. Thanks.

Bother?

Hi Mike: Hey pal, no bother, this is what these forms are for, sharing ideas and help. (BTW, what are you doing up this late?) What year boat do you have?, What engine do you have? Did you winterize the boat? I will try to help when you post the above info. Good luck Dave S/V Westwind

Call Catalina

I was lucky enough to have a friend in Newport who also purchased an '84 Cat 27, of course after seeing ours; his is a Tall Rig. His boat came with the original manual...which I copied cover to cover and keep in a 3 ring binder along with all the maintenance stuff I have done to the boat these past three years. The manual has all the "check list" and things to do, diagrams, etc. Not being that mechanically inclined, I changed the fuel filter myself ( along with a face full of diesel ) based on the info in the manual. E-mail at: jmwalsh@sprintmail.com I would love to share all the info I have with you. I agree with Dave...you will find this site to be invaluable and a wealth of information. We all enjoy sharing what we can with other Catalina owners! I hope to here from you. Narragansett Bay is a GREAT place to sail!! Jim S/V Hawaii Kai

I just re-read your post...the times of posting submissions are Pacific Time...but it was still 12:34AM East Coast time. I know I'm fast asleep by then. Jim
