The Welland Canal connecting Erie to Ontario opened today. The only vessel in transit is the Seahound, a Canadian registered tug. Good enough!

I am heading to the boat next week to do some more spring maintenance. Soon....Soon....Oh so soon and I will be stretching my new Halyards!

And the yellow pollen is at least an inch deep EVERYwhere! (AaaaaaaaaaaaCHOOOOOOOO!!)

This is also the time when mud daubers and other critters start looking for places to build nests...and they're especially fond of vent thru-hulls. So check 'em all every time you come to the boat...just 'cuz there weren't any in your thru-hulls this time doesn't mean there won't be any next time.

Not so fast ...

I had to break out the snow blower this morning and disperse over a foot of snow so that I could make my way to work this morning. :cussing: More on the way tonight!
