One of my spreaders was damaged durring the last hurricane and needs to be replaced. All I really need is the bracket. I still have the current bracket,but it was a home made job. The port side bracket is in good shape. any info on a irwin 23 bracket would be appreciated

Go to a machine shop
You won't find (maybe) an exact replacement spreader root, but you can go to a good machine shop and they should be able to make you one or two from scratch. Bring in the old broken or good other one and let them do their magic.
