Can anyone please tell me if spreader boots, tape or anything else required on the spreaders to protect the jib? The fittings look like they could do some damage. Thanks!
With the stock jib, we've never had a concern. Since they're swept back with the fractional rig, I don't think it even reaches. I'm more concerned with running, but even then the main only seems to lay against the back side of the spreaders.
