Spray hood frame (Dodger)

 My series 1 (1970)  came with a frame made of what appears to solid steel with a rubber coating. Was this original back then? Does anyone have the spray hood from Vega Marine? What is it made out of and how is the fit etc?  Thanks Gordon

My 1977 had the frame, it is made from aluminum 1/2 or 3/4 tubing. I ordered the spray hood Vega Marin and it fit like a glove. Good canvas material, good quality, and a great fit. I love it.
