Hi, I did not see this problem posted anywhere else in the Cherubini forum. I have a 79 H33 and was wondering if there is a drain passage between the main bilge area and the small area before the mast? If so, has anyone had a problem with this area getting plugged up and if so, how did you unplug it? Thanks in advance.

I have a '78 - 30' and the forward section of the bilge always has water in it. is there a drain hole to the aft bilge.

i don't have a drain

I too have a '79 H33, and I have no hole between bilges. I've thought about making one, but until then I just manually pump it out of the forward bilge into the main bilge.

Additional Info

I was putting a small bilge pump in the small forward bilge area when I noticed quite a bit of mineral buildup in what could be a channel to the larger back bilge area. That is what prompted the question. I would think that there should be. Thanks to both of you for your reply. If I turn up something, I will post it here.

I have an '82 H33

and have had water in the forward area of the bilge only twice. In the first case there was enough that it flowed around the mast step and into the primary bilge. The second time, I just sponged it out. I don't think I would disturb the bedding area for the mast post with a hole between the two areas. Jeff
