Ok well I have today ordered 4 Quick Attach eye terminals so that I can shorten
the shrouds on our boat. I will post a picture or two when I actually get around
to doing this. I have also ordered the gps usb puck antenna for the laptop which
is to be our primary navigation system. I checking with the supplier I have been
informed that a usb estension can be used with these but the length should be
kept to 12 feet or less and that they may be mounted inside the cabin roof
without affecting reception.

I've given up trying to find new aluminum tubing for the one toe rail that was
damaged and rather then replace both with stainless have simply cut the bad
section out and shortened the other rail to match.
I'll need to terminating standoffs to finish that project.

Next will be remounting the macerator pump so that the outflow is vertical. I'll
use an aluminum angle screwed to the floor of the head and then mount the pump
to that by rotating it 90 degree's. Then I'll be picking up the vented loop and
1 inch hose to finish that off as well as the vent hose from the msd to the vent
in the side of the cabin.

The next big project will be cutting and modifying the v berth to accomodate the
new 20 gallon water tank and associated fittings and hoses as well as required
wood work etc.
With that done it will be time to paint the entire inside of the cabin with
polyurathane and re-install the v berth cushions and fabricate some curtains for
the forward ports.

I have a bit of sanding and filling to do the the cockpit sole and then the
cockpit can be painted. I think I will install new mahogony brightwork on the
combings rather then use the old ones.

There is some minor trim work to be done and they she'll finally be ready for a
splash this year sometime between now and the end of May.

Ok I have gotten to work on the new water tank and here are a couple of photo's showing just what is going on.

1st : Had to cut thru the front v-berth to allow the tank to move forward as much as possible. I then discovered that I had to raise the tank about 2'' above the sole in order to gain enough width to keep it centered on the keel line. Due to the arrangement of the v-berth on the port side I had to actually shift the tank to starboard by 1''.

2nd : This just shows the bottom of the new tank floor in place. I still have to totally foam underneath it ie fill the void between it and the hull with urathane foam. This will give it added support as well as if the hull is ever holed there then the foam will keep the flooding to a minimum until we're able to effect a repair.

A little more done :)

Well the box is roughed in for the new water tank now and I have re oriented the macerator pump so the hose bib is facing up rather then towards the MSD. The vented loop is also now installed on the bulkhead well above the water line even when heeled.
