Splicing issue

I have 3/4 inch nylon double braid. Tried to do an eye slice and found the core was actually double core (one in the other). Spoke with 2 riggers and they were stumped on what to do.
The line was purchased from FSbraiding. I sent them an email today but was wondering if anyone has dealt with this before?

I've done several double braid splices and still don't have a clue how they work. It's one of those things where, if you follow the instructions exactly, suddenly there is a splice.

I tried triple braid using the same kit and ended up with a total snarl both times.

My line seems to have a different construction than tachyon. Tachyon has a 3strand inner core within the braided core. My line has an inner braided core within the braided core, the cover seems traditional for a double braid.

What if you just treated the whole core section as one unit and did the eye-splice as usual?
