Per CAPRI 22 CLASS RULES (As Revised March 29, 2008) for the IVY OPEN RACING FLEET (I.O.R.F.) IVY Yacht and Canoe Club
Catalina 22: Leaches - 25 feet 10 inches (maximum) Girth - 14 feet 5 inches (maximum)
Capri 22 (TR) : Leaches - 29 feet (maximum) Girth - 14.68 feet (maximum)
Capri 22 (SR) : Leaches - 25 feet (maximum) Girth - 14.68 feet (maximum)

Definitely depends on the Capri rig you have.
These are maximums - so it also depends on the actual sail measurements.

If you have a tall rig, your center of force will be too high (or you'll have too much halyard exposed at the head), and you're shortchanging you permissible sail area.
If you have a short rig Capri, you'd have a slightly long sail but probably be ok (except for the sacrilege of putting a Cat sail on a Capri).

Thanks for the info! I have a Standard Rig, I want to fly an asymmetrical which will probably be hard to find used for ether boat. Think I will have to get a new one.

The assym is "non standard" so you'll just have to figure out the dimensions that you want.
At that point check with the used sail lofts.
It doesn't really matter what boat a sail was made for if you are not trying to stay one-design.
Send pictures when you've got it up...
