I have a Spinnaker with a chute that was used once, brand new in my opinion, including the storage bag. Fits a boat around 35'. What can I expect to sell it for? Where and how should I list it?

Re: Spinnaker for Sabre 34

When you say "chute" I assume you mean sock. Is it an asymetrical spinnaker?

Measure it(luff, leech and foot) and post an ad in the classified section of this website.

Re: Spinnaker for Sabre 34

Go to Bacon Sails (baconsails.com) and there you can search your boat and look up spinnakers and with your dimensions you can then do a search of all other boats that the spin will fit. There were 2 MK 1's. I = 45.53' (TM) and I = 43.58'. Both have a J = 14' dimension. There you can look for used spinnakers by size and the listing will tell you what boat they came from, etc. Some sail makers write on the head of the chute the dimensions or call the sail maker and tell them what you have.

Re: Spinnaker for Sabre 34

Based on the 35' boat size used sails we have bought in the 500 dollar range as they get old no matter what

I would think if your ever going to sell the boat it would have more value as part of the sale
