The prior owner put an attachment point on the anchor roller. The anchor line can chafe on it, so I am reluctant to do the same. Where do you attach the tack?

Paul,

That's quite interesting. What brand of furler is that? Is it a top down furler? Are you able to use the jib furler when it is up, or do you take it down before using the jib furler?

I've just gotten an aysemetrical spinnaker (with a sock) and I might want to go towards a furler at some point.

Thanks,

Scotty

I use a small block on the tack line which is shackled to the bail, tack line is secured to the foredeck cleat. Usually used in conjunction with an ATN Tacker I have some ability to adjust the tack up and down while keeping it close to the centerline, you can always adjust up but getting it down can take some muscle in a stiff breeze. I usually "blow" (release) it from the tacker when trying to carry the spin very deep downwind.
