I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
Great information already thrown down here.

Take it from me, I fly an asymmetrical single handed and I did about 60 nautical miles this season single handed with the asymmetrical up.

Prep starts with making sure the sheets, the halyard, and the tack line us run right. Make sure your tack line ties off near the cockpit so you can blow that line when you drop the spinnaker.

When you pack it into the back they are right about following the tape. When I pack mine I make sure that I follow the tape to each corner. I have Tack, Clew, and Head written on the sail in permanent marker so I know which is which.

I tend to launch my spinnaker off of the foredeck and I don't use a turtle bag. A turtle bag would be okay for a symmetrical spinnaker but it would get in the way of the tackline for my asymmetrical. They make bags that attach to the deck or the lifeline. You launch off of the leeward side of the boat. I WOULD launch on the outside of my jib but my spinnaker halyard would foul my furler when I furl the jib.

Seriously, it isn't a rocket launch. It is not that hard. Just go out there and do it!
