spinnaker halyard

Hi All,

Does anyone have advice on fitting a spinnaker halyard? I have my mast
down at the moment and I noticed that the forestay is attached to the
farthest forward position at the mast head. There is another bolt about
10-15 mm back and a bit lower. My question is do I move the forestay to
the aft fitting and use the forward one for mounting the halyard block?
If so do I have to compensate with forestay length? Is there another
alternative that I'm missing?

I'll take a picture and post next time I'm down.

Hi
The spinnaker halyard must be the in the most forward position.

Tom,
I don't know which mast you have, but here is a picture of my Series
I masthead showing forestay attachment and spinnaker halyard block
(wire Halyard in photo, since changed to rope).
