for the jib sheets. Either will be swivel mounted and be positioned for winch assistance. Anybody with experience or opinions on this? Thanks, Rob

I Have Them on My 23.5

One of the best "upgrades" I have made; a number of guys have them on theirs as well. Mine do not swivel and I do not ever use the winches so they work real well on these models. Look in the archives there has been much discussion on this. '

Same here...

But, I think that the spinlocks seem to demand newer sheets to work well. I have resigned myslef to replacing my jib sheets more often than I would have for regular cam. I also never use winch for jib.

Did it on my V22

It was one of the best mods done on my V22. Single handing is SOOOOO much easier. My sheets are relatively new, but don't think there would be a problem if they weren't.

Spinlocks

As noted by others this is a very popular modification. Here's a couple of pictures to give you an idea of how they were installed. A few of us have also used the spinlock on the mainsheet. http://www.kobernus.com/hunter260_web/upgrades/misc/misc.html

Thanks everyone...

I haven't had time to do anything yet. Too busy sailing!!! Finally! It sounds like Spinlocks are the way to go and I was leaning that way anyhow. Rob

My favorite mod too

...but I just want to emphasize not to use the winch as is stated in the PowerCleat instructions. I actually broke one, somehow, with my bare hands (no winch). I didn't notice until after I tacked back to the broken side. So, I don't know what I did to break it. I replaced it, and bought an additional spare. I like the mod so much that I don't care even if I break a couple evey season. I'll just keep buying them. I haven't broken it again, and probably won't. I'm a little easier on it now. ...RickM...
