Spinlock 4-Line Jammer

I was out in my Hunter 38 sloop on Sunday in 20 knots and in the mayhem somehow messed up my line jammer for the mail sheet. The gizmo that jams down to hold the line in place when you close the handle is now sticking straight up and is stuck behind a bar that runs through all four jammers. The handle, which normally pushes the mechanism back and up to release the pressure, now can't move to the full open position. Don't know what I did to get it in this position and can't see a way to get it back.

Any suggestions?

There is a SS rod (with a spring on it) the connects the cam (aka 'the gizmo') to the aft end of the frame. this bar pushes the cam down when the handles is closed. If you pull this out of the frame the whole thing acts crazy until you put it back in place.

I figured out how to fix the problem with my jammer. The attached pictures shows the "gizmo" which presses down on the line to jam it in place. It was stuck in this upward position behind the SS bar. I pulled the gizmo back with a pair of pliers and was able to get it past the bar and set it down into place. Then I was able to have a wonderful weekend on the boat. Nice to have found the solution.
