I am overhauling some slipping spinlock 0814 double clutches. First one went smooth although I had to use a vice and socket to press out one of the pins. Onto clutch number 2 and I tried the vice trick again with no luck. I tried heat oil vice no luck. Anyone ever run into this? I'd cut it and get a new pin if I could find one.

I replaced our OEM clutch banks with new Lewmar D2 clutch banks a couple of years ago. The old ones were long out of production, and the plastic parts were damaged by UV. We have two doubles on each side of the hatch.
While trying to resurrect old gear can be personally satisfying at times, technology has moved forward and at the worst you will just have to epoxy some of the old holes before drilling new ones.
(FWIW, I also took advantage of the spring WM 2-for-1 sale and installed new housetop winches (40ST). That was also a nice upgrade beyond just normal maintenance, and highly recommended. )
