Has anyone added a spinaker to their 23.5? If so, since there are only two blocks at the top of the mast, how did you do it?

I did a similar thing for my H26. I ordered a mast sheeve blockand installed it in the mast above the headstay. The block installed from outside and was installed with 6 screws. On the bottom of the mast I installed a mast exit plate and a new cleat. The halyard was then run internally. On the stern, aft of the cleats on each side I installed a diamond padeye and a turning block. That is all you need for a cruising chute, you will need rigging for the spinnaker pole for a conventional spinnaker. If you go the a~sail route, I would recommend getting an ATN spinnaker sleeve and a Tacker tack strap. I used this setup for 12 years and it worked great.

You only need to install a turning block down (assume mast head rig) from the spinaker halyard block. This takes the side loads as the sail is is set "a flying" the halyard will be pulled from the side as well as straight down.
Halyard routing is up the mast inside, over the masthead block, down to the turning block to the spin head. the block can just be a regular block suspended fromt the mast head on a pendant. The shorter the pendant the better to keep it from wrapping with the halyard.
Alternatly you could fasten a stout bar to the mast head sticking out forward and atta ch the block to that.
