Can anyone give me the hoist and foot measurements for a spinaker that would fit my 23.5? And/or is it a good idea to even use one on a boat with no rear stay? Any insight would be great. btw...the spinaker i'm looking at has a 24.5' hoist and a 17.10' foot? Hoist sounds ok since on the 23.5 its around 25 if i remember right... not sure of the foot.. foot for the jib is appx 10' i think. I would have to check the spec sheet again. i'm not sure about the backsaty part of your question. i did buy aa used spinnaker, 26X15 i think the 24.5 hoist might be a little short and the 17 may be a little long. i was told it shout be between 14-16 feet.

Thanks for the info Steve... the sail is cheap enough that i may get it just to try it... dunno. Maybe i should spend my money somewhere else
btw...are you using a spinaker pole to fly it? If so how high up the mast is it mounted? thx again... greg
