Spinaker sheets?

I have a few of these lines along with many many more that came with the boat. I was wondering if it was for a spinnaker ( I have one) and what the purpose of the white plastic piece.

It's a spinnaker shackle guard. It stops the snap shackle from jamming in the jaws of the spinnaker pole end.
