Maybe US Yachts?
It's difficult to really tell from that picture but Bayliner made a series of C&C-ish looking boats under the name "US Yachts" which, during the heyday of sailboat racing were supposed to capture some market share in the sailboat department. Once gas prices started coming down the sailboat sales started drying up as boat buyers switched over to gas guzzeling powerboats and US Yachts wound up going by the wayside. If this boat has anything that says "Bayliner" on it then it's a US Yachts model. The Buccaneer type are very easy to recognize. The US Yacht boats were definitely more performance type boats and I remember seeing one with rod rigging, backstay adjuster and basically rigged for performance. If so equipped the thing to watch out for is oilcanning if there wasn't a full forward bulkhead.
