Looking for a source of Hunter 27 specifications, such as size of sails, length of standing riging, type and size of prop., water pump impeller type model and manufacture, etc.
I recommend you talk to several sailmakers regarding the specs. I tried to sell my 150 genoa to a fellow h27 owner, the only problem was he still had 3 feet of sail to raise when he topped out. My h27 is an 81 and matches the specs located on this website and the previous response. My friend's h27 was a 79 and has a mast 3+ feet shorter than mine. He contacted a couple of sailmakers who had three different sets of specs for the h27. When in doubt...Measure!
The 27's are now of an age where you must measure everything to confirm specs. Almost anything may have been replaced and the specs changed apart from the fact that there were very specific year differences.
